We are pleased to announce that this year’s Access Panel Conference will take place virtually on Thursday 25 February and will be themed on Digital Participation and Inclusion.

Access Panels are groups of volunteers who work together to improve physical access and wider social inclusion in their local communities.  As the umbrella body for Access Panels in Scotland, Disability Equality Scotland offers support and training opportunities to help Access Panels operate more efficiently, link together as a network and learn from each other.

Our keynote speech will be delivered by Monica Lennon MSP. The conference will also provide the opportunity to discuss as a Network our shared priorities for the year ahead, in collaboration with stakeholder representatives in attendance from transport, health and local government.

Invitations to delegates are being sent out. This conference will be supported by live captioning, as well as British Sign Language (BSL) interpreters.

If you are interested in attending, please email Ali Bruce alistair@disabilityequality.scot or call our office on 0141 370 0968.
