Disability Equality Scotland are excited to announce the upcoming launch of the UK Easy Read Standards. We have led the working group for this project since 2024, and now this group is ready to share its work with the public.
Disability Equality Scotland will host an online launch event on Tuesday 1 October, from 10am to 11am, on Zoom. You can register for the event using this link.
Please join us at this event to find out more about the project, including:
- What Easy Read is, and why it is so important.
- How volunteers from the UK Easy Read community have worked together to share best practice.
- How you can download the Easy Read Standards and get involved.

After the launch event, the UK Easy Read Standards document will be available to download from the Disability Equality Scotland website.
